David Cohen
David has a background in investment banking, spending 10 years, post his MBA from Manchester Business School, in the corporate research and cross border mergers and acquisitions departments in Europe and Japan for one of Japan’s leading commercial banks.
He has strong links with the private equity community and led fundraising and the creation of strategic alliances as head of European business development for a venture capital firm. David has genuine empathy with owner managers of businesses having founded, developed and sold his own chain of bagel stores.
Between 2003 and 2009 he was a director at a corporate finance boutique specialising in the sale of UK owner managed businesses, where he advised on more than 50 sale assignments. Since forming DCA Corporate in June 2009, David has completed more than 40 business sales.
David Lewis
David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and from 1987 to 2004 held partner/director positions with medium sized accounting firms, working with clients ranging from SMEs to quoted companies.
He has extensive investigative and analytical skills and an exceptional ability to develop insightful and workable solutions to financial challenges. More recently David has been working as a consultant providing project support services to SME businesses.
This has included financial due diligence prior to the acquisition of small businesses and support before and during due diligence when a business is being sold. Other projects have included the preparation of financial projections and internal audit to examine the effectiveness of business processes.
Ased Iqbal
Ased has an engineering degree and post graduate law qualification and started his professional life as a credit analyst in commercial banking, working in financial modelling.
Over the past 30 years, Ased has accumulated wide-ranging business experience, having owned and operated companies in various sectors that include wholesale/distribution, where he built a food and drinks business to £40 million revenue prior to a successful trade sale exit, hospitality, e-commerce, manufacturing, environmental services, real estate and franchising.
Currently he provides corporate finance advisory services, specialising in valuations and deal structures and assists clients acquisition funding, legal and financial due diligence process and post completion business restructuring and long-term growth strategy.
Daniel Feingold
Daniel has a business degree and is a barrister with over 25 years’ experience, advising law and accounting firms on tax issues. He is currently Senior Partner of niche tax lawyers, Stratax LLP.
He is a recognised expert in many issues of complex tax law including Residence and Domicile, International Planning, Tax Mitigation and major tax disputes with HMRC.
His advice is sought on many tax issues arising out of sales, capital gains tax, pre-sale planning, company reconstructions, Management Buyouts and the use of various Employee Share or Share Options Schemes to improve tax efficiency, dealing with shares held by Offshore Trusts of Employee Benefits trusts and Pensions Schemes. Daniel works regularly with owner managers of businesses and high net worth individuals.
